Medical Pedicures
Pedicures are considered a cosmetic service. Chiropodists provide medical treatment for nail and skin concerns on your feet — in a safe and clean environment. We provide routine care for at-risk clients (ie diabetics, impaired circulation, immune-compromised patients and the elderly), as well as complex care for more serious skin or painful skin and nail conditions. This is sometimes called a medical pedicure by our clients, but is not an esthetics/ salon type service. At this time we are only providing routine foot care for patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, vascular problems, autoimmune disease and other systemic health concerns. Of course those with painful skin lesions or active skin and nail infections are always welcome.
